Language in short film

Last week, some students took the opportunity to view some English film ´shorts´, at the film festival which took place at the Teatro Salon Cervantes, in Alcala de Henares.
The aim of the programme of ´language in short film´(idiomas en corto),  is to "...provide the opportunity to increase your knowledge of the chosen language by listening and reading the subtitles in the same language"
The films dealt with some interesting themes and the students who took part in the trip, enjoyed the experience.

The short films we watched were as follows:
  • Gentleman In Squalor
  • Every Good Boy Does Fine
  • Junk
  • The Third One This Week
  • Little Brother
  • The Road Home
      ´Gentlemen in Squalor´

            ´The Road Home´

This link shows a preview of the film "Every Good Boy Does Fine", which proved to be a favourite among the students of San Isidro.

Here is a link to an interview with the the creator of another of the short films, ´The Road Home´. The filmmaker describes the film as being ¨somewhat autobiographical" Why not take a look to learn more about the film and the thinking behind it?
